Introduction to What the Councilperson At-Large Does | page top
On November 6, 2007, I was elected by the citizens of the City of Burlington to serve as Councilman At-Large. Sworn in on January 1, 2008, my four-year term expires on December 31, 2011. As Councilperson At-Large, I represent the interests of all City residents. Council members perform all appropriate functions with respect to City legislation, including:
- Preparation of Municipal Budget
- Writing and Passage of Ordinances to govern the City
- Voice concerns and complaints of constituents (City residents)
- Represent citizens while solving problems and planning for the future

Active participant in recreation, government, and community events, including coaching youth sports.
