When to Search the FAQ / Q&A
Search the FAQ / Q&A for specific instructions and tips in answer to particular needs you may have. Use this when you need something to the point, and don't really know where exactly to turn. For example, “What day is my trash collected?”, or “How do I license my dog?” without the quotation marks.
When to Search the Website in General
Search the Website when you desire general information about, and contacts of, City Government, Departments and services. For example, use words or phrases such as “court”, “ city council” or “building permit” without the quotes.
Instructions
- Choose to Search either, or both, the FAQs and Website.
- Enter your search word or phrase describing what you want in the box.
- Click Search.
You’ll be served up a page of links to information, with search results ranked by relevance to your search term.

Still can't find your answer? Don't despair– call for help from a real human being– the City receptionist. Dial 609-386-0200 ext. 0. Leave your name, telephone number, and a brief to-the-point message. The City switchboard operator will attempt to call you back and direct you to the correct department or other helpful information.
