TRAFFIC MAINTENANCE DIVISION
The Division of Traffic Maintenance worker is known as the Traffic
Maintenance Supervisor. This Division, under the auspices of the
Public Safety Dept., Mayor and Business Administrator, performs all
appropriate functions with regard to orderly regulation of City vehicular
traffic, including:
- Determine signal and signage needs to maintain safe traffic
flows
- Production and installation of necessary signage
- Operate and maintain traffic lights and warnings
- Apply surface markings to streets and curbs for safe conduct
of traffic
- Meet State of New Jersey standards
- Prepare Division annual budget
 NOTE:
If you require a Handicapped Parking Space established near your
home, you should apply through the Police Division. They are responsible
for determining if your request meets all requirements for processing
approval for a handicapped space. Call the Police Administrative
