SOME TIPS ON CONSERVING WATER
In a continuous effort to educate you, our valued customer, on the
importance of water conservation, here are a few helpful suggestions
which will conserve water and save you money...
When replacing old toilets, purchase ultra low-flow
models and save four gallons of water per day per toilet.
Run the washing machine only when you have a full
load of laundry. You'll save thirty gallons of water for each partial
load you avoid.
For more information on water conservation or any water problems,
feel free to contact us at 609-386-0307
Information about contaminants and potential health effects can
be obtained by calling the Environmental Protection Agency’s
Safe Drinking Water Hotline at 1-800-426-4791.
The City of Burlington Water Division follows guidelines from the
New Jersey Dept. of Environmental Protections’s Self-Assessment
of Critical Asset Infrastructure (Plant Security) in response to
the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
