What a Councilperson At-Large Does
On November 2, 2015, I was re-elected by the citizens of the City of Burlington to serve as Councilman At-Large, and was sworn in on Jan. 1, 2016 to serve a four-year term that expires on Dec. 31, 2019 (after serving two previous terms from 2008 until 2016). As Councilperson At-Large, I represent the interests of all City residents. Council members perform all appropriate functions with respect to City legislation, including:
- Preparation of Municipal Budget
- Writing and Passage of Ordinances to govern the City
- Voice concerns and complaints of constituents (City residents)
- Represent citizens while solving problems and planning for the future

Financial Counselor/Insurance Agent and former Hospitality Manager for over 20 years
BA degree in English Literature as well as extensive Management and Marketing training
Member of Burlington City Schools PTA, Knights of Columbus, and Early Childhood Advisory Council at Samual Smith School.
Active participant in recreation, government, and community events, including coaching youth sports.
