NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM AFFORDABLE HOMES FOR-SALE
The City of Burlington has reopened the application process for new affordable two to four bedroom homes. The homes will be priced starting at $110,000. Applications will be received until March 31, 2010. Families earning between 50% and 120% of the area’s median income are eligible to apply. Applicants will be required to have a minimum credit score of 580 in order to obtain mortgage pre-approval and have no recently discharged bankruptcies or judgments.
The homes are currently being rehabilitated to HUD housing standards and will be located in Burlington City’s NSP targeted neighborhood. The housing units will be available for sale beginning in early February, 2010. Triad Associates has been designated by Burlington City to act as the program Administrative Agent to qualify and assist home buyers through the application process.
How to Apply
If you are interested in applying to purchase one of the affordable units, you must complete a Preliminary Application. Preliminary Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2010.
Applications are available at the Burlington City Municipal Building, at 525 High Street, Burlington, NJ 08016, and on the Triad Associates website at www.triadhousingprogram.com. In addition, interested persons may come to Triad Associates office at 1301 W. Forest Grove Road, Bldg. #3, Vineland, NJ 08360 between the hours of 9AM-4PM to pick up an application.

All completed Preliminary Applications must be returned to Triad Associates at 1301 W. Forest Grove Road, Vineland, NJ 08360 no later than March 31, 2010.

The program is authorized through the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Neighborhood Stabilization Program, the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing Program and the Housing and Economic Recovery Act.
