Extended Until Aug. 12:  Brush Collection Resumes August 3, First Full Week of the Month


Detail News:

Brush pick-up will resume  Monday, August 3 (regularly scheduled time first week of month).  Extension:  Owing to delays caused by the recent storm, brush pick-up period will be extended until Wednesday, August 12.
From August 3 until August 12, City residents requiring curbside brush pick-up should call the Dept. of Public Works at 609-386-0754, option 1, to schedule pick-up. Ask for Johanne or leave a message, or email publicworks@burlingtonnj.us  and make arrangement for pickup. Please provide your name, street address, and best contact phone number. Calls will be accepted until 12 pm. 

Next brush pickup is scheduled for the week of September 7 to 11th.

Limbs no thicker than 4'' should be bundled and wrapped with string.

BRUSH COLLECTION NOTICE

When notified in advance, the Division of Public Works collects brush and branches during the first full week of every month. To be scheduled for pick-ups, please contact Public Works Secretary, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm, at 609-386-0754, Option 1.

All brush to be collected must be properly tied into bundles. Branches must not exceed 6 inches in diameter nor 4 feet in length.

The Division of Public Works DOES NOT collect bagged brush or leaves. Residents may take these bags to the Municipal Drop-off Yard on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. All brush dropped off also must be properly tied into bundles. Branches must not exceed 6 inches in diameter nor 4 feet in length.
