  • I see a threatening animal-- whom do I call?

    In case of a snarling, threatening domestic animal or stray, call the Burlington County Central Dispatch at 609-386-3300

    EMERGENCIES: If there is an attack or biting involved, dial 911.

  • There's a wild animal damaging my house or my property... who do I call?

    Animal Control may not help homeowners or businesses capture or remove wildlife. The removal of wild animals requires that you call a Wildlife center. In this area, it is suggested you try the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, 6 Sawmill Rd., Medford, TEL: 856-983-3329.

  • I need a dog license or a license for my pet... whom do I call?

    All dogs living in the City of Burlington over the age of 6 months must be licensed annually. Cats need not be licensed. Dog licenses are available from the
    Health Division / Registrar of Vital Statistics
    9am-5pm M-F
    at the
    City Hall Municipal Offices
    525 High Street
    Burlington NJ 08016
    TEL: 609-386-0200 ext. 137

    Be prepared to provide:
    certificate of rabies vaccination
    proof of spaying or neutering, if done.

    Fees are:
    Dogs spayed or neutered: $8/yr.
    Dogs NOT spayed or neutered: $11/yr.
    Dog licenses should be renewed each calendar year during the month of January! The Division of Animal Control does not issue dog licenses or cat licenses, and Licenses are no longer offered at Keegan Center.
