  • Where can I buy Boat Ramp Permits?

    Permits are available at City Hall at:
    Municipal Clerk's office
    City Hall Municipal Offices
    525 High Street
    Burlington NJ 08016
    M-F 9am-4pm

    BOAT RAMP ATTENDANT:
    No Attendant on Duty Until Further Notice

    Owing to budget reductions, no Attendants will be on duty until further notice.
    Boat Trailer Permits are required, however, and Police will issue citations to trailer owners who do not display proper permit stickers. Please purchase permits at City Hall.

    Fees are posted at the Boat Ramp site, and other public buildings.

  • Can I get driving directions to the Boat Ramp?

    The Boat Ramp is located off of a parking lot at the mouth of the Assiscunk Creek, near the intersection of Tatham and E. Pearl Street.

    FROM I-295 or NJ Turnpike

    1.Take I-295 to Exit 47-B (Burlington Route 541 exit), or take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 5 (Burlington)

    2. Take Route 541 (approx. 3 miles) into Burlington. The road becomes High Street. Continue over Rte. 130 into town. At 2nd traffic light, make...

    3. Right turn on Broad Street (RR tracks), go 4 blocks and...

    4. Left Turn across RR tracks onto Tatham Street, go 4 blocks and...

    5. Right turn on E. Pearl Street, short distance, before Bridge make...

    6. Left turn into Boat Ramp Lot

    BOAT RAMP HOURS IN-SEASON:
    Open 6am–10pm

    BOAT RAMP ATTENDANT:
