  • Who is Eligible for a Library Card / Membership?

    You are eligible for Library Company of Burlington membership if you are a resident of Burlington City or Township. To join, simply bring identification to verify your name and residence.

  • How long may I keep this book I borrowed from the Library?

    Books from the general collection can be borrowed for 4 weeks. Items from the popular titles collection, cassettes, magazines and interlibrary loan items can be borrowed for two weeks.

  • How long may I keep or when must I return videos borrowed from the Library?

    Instructional videos can be borrowed for one week; entertainment and documentary videos for three days.

  • Can I keep this borrowed Library book or video longer?

    Materials may be renewed at the library or by telephone if not overdue or in demand. Renewal periods vary– call us:
    TEL: 609-386-1273
    Mon–Thu 11am–8pm
    Fri 3pm–8pm
    Sat 11am–3pm
    (Closed Saturdays during July & August).

  • How much are fines for overdue Library books or videos?

    There’s a 10 cent per day per item over-due charge on print and audio items.
    Overdue charge for videos is $2 per video per day.
    Replacement fee for a lost library card: $2

  • Who is responsible for books, videos, DVDs and other borrowed materials?

    Parents are responsible for the materials their children borrow.
    Patrons are held accountable for all items borrowed with their Library card or BLINC cards, so keep cards secure.

  • Where is my Library Card valid?

    One Library Card works at all BLINC locations, including Library Company of Burlington, Burlington County Library and all of its branches.
