  • Where in Burlington County can I recycle lap top and computer moniters and printers?

I would start with Burlington County, they have been known to accept computers and peripherals (CPUs, hard drives, monitors, keyboards) and similar items (fax machines, VCRs and cell phones) from private residents: Burlington County Office of Recycling Solid Waste Management and Recycling PO Box 429 Columbus NJ 08022 TEL: 60-499-1001 The state maintains an online list of Solid and Hazardous Waste Consumer Electronics Recycling Facilities. The facilities in the table are approved to "demanufacture" consumer electronics. Find that list at: http://www.state.nj.us/dep/dshw/lrm/uwaste/ucomplist.htm Unfortunately, there are currently NO faclities listed which are approved to accept computers and monitors for refurbishing and resale or donation. You might ask around your local schools, adult education and seniors programs.
