  • My assessment may be too high... how do I go about apealing it?

    Appeals on Assessments must be filed with the County Tax Board before April 1.
    Appeals on Added Assessments must be filed no later than Dec. 1.
    NOTE: despite filing an appeal, your taxes MUST be kept current with the Collector. Overpayments will then be credited forward.

  • Are patio pavers, stepping stones and the like assessed, that is, subject to assessment for taxation purposes?

    No, unless the paving stones are set in concrete, they will not be assessed.
