Erection of a six-foot high fence
Installation of a swimming pool
Building a garden shed or other outbuilding
Constructing a new building
Sub-dividing a building or lot
Changing the manner of use of a building or lot

How do I report an apparent violation of zoning or misuse of land?
Make your report to the Zoning Officer by calling

Do Certificate of Occupancy violations need to be corrected prior to the sale of your home or can the buyer of the home make the repairs after settlement?
Violations that are a life hazard have to be corrected, such as GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor) outlets and smoke detectors. All other violations can be done later.
