DESCRIPTION:The Board of Education of the City of Burlington Public School District of the County of Burlington and the State of New Jersey hereby designates its monthly meetings as outlined below\, and unless otherwise modified by Resolution of this body or indicated below\, such meetings shall commence at 6:00 PM. The Board of Education may begin each meeting with a work session and/or executive session meeting. Meetings shall be held in the Wilbur Watts Intermediate School Large Group Instruction Room\, 550 High Street\, Burlington\, NJ 08016. The Agenda is available via a link posted on the district’s website www.burlington-nj.net. \nAppropriate notice shall be given in the event of any changes to the time or format of these regularly scheduled meetings. DESCRIPTION:Burlington Day is an annual event that takes place every third Saturday of May since the 1970s.  Residents of all ages and visitors from neighboring towns are invited to this free event to enjoy live bands\, pony rides\, entertainment\, educational and recreational activities\, and festival food.  The event takes place on the 14-acre Riverfront Promenade\, including ample parking for vendors and visitors (as well as close proximity to NJ Transit RiverLINE lightrail and bus stops).
