The Zoning Office is responsible for examining working plans of proposed
structures for compliance with state, county and local zoning laws, ordinances,
rules and regulations. In addition, the Zoning Office performs all appropriate
functions associated with:
Reviewing and processing zoning permits
Conducting field inspections to ensure compliance with zoning regulations and initiating appropriate enforcement actions against violators
Zoning approval is required for patios, swimming pools, decks, sheds, fences,
additions, driveway additions etc. If you ever have a question about whether
your proposed project requires zoning approval, please contact the Zoning
Officer.
