Public Works

Under the supervision of the Public Works Director, the Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining City streets, public grounds, vehicles, and facilities and managing and operating the sewer and water plants. In addition, the Department of Public Works performs all appropriate functions associated with:

• Bush and Leaf Collections
• Clearing and Repairing Storm Drains
• Fleet Management
• Maintaining All Parks in Common Areas and Recreational Fields
• Maintains and Operates Recycling Facilities
• Pot Hole Repairs
• Processes and Treats Surface Water for Purification
• Processes and Treats Wastewater
• Repairing or Replacing Road Signs
• Snow Removal
• Street Sweeping
